Bugs & Brews Festival
South Shreveport’s premier Crawfish and Music Festival celebrating the spirit, cuisine and culture of Louisiana in an idyllic family-friendly park setting. Expect Louisiana fare, crawfish from several local vendors, food trucks, live music with a Louisiana flare by multiple artists throughout the day, Louisiana art and jewelry, interactive children’s area, crawfish races, and MORE…. The event is hosted by The Market Restaurant, the Provenance Institute and Farmers Seafood.

Erica and Karah Roop make up the duo known as Kericah. They are singers/songwriters/ soul sisters and their voices and musical stylings meld together effortlessly. They have their own country flare. Kericah sings a variety of originals and covers.
Professor Porkchop and The Dirty Dishes

Shreveport native Chris McCaa with his band Professor Porkchop and The Dirty Dishes (Jason Coffield, guitar, sax, vocals; Shawn Stroope, bass; and Danielle Dyer, drums), is a popular fixture on the regional music scene. The Professor channels his many influences, at times evoking a “Randy Newman meets Dr. John” vibe appropriate given his Louisiana roots.
J and The Causeways

New-Aged original soul band “J & The Causeways” were founded on a hot summer night in New Orleans at the famous Maple Leaf Bar. With a powerfully energetic rhythm section, tasteful songwriting, stunning lead vocals, and wonderfully intricate guitar and horn melodies, the group began sculpting a robust Festival-style sound.
